Spring Exhibition at Ground Floor Gallery

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

Hello everyone,

Wow! I can’t believe its been a year since I last posted. Sorry!!

I’ve been really busy looking after my 15 month old son Reese while creating a new series of work. I’m also just back from a fantastic weekend in the beautiful city of Paris. I really enjoyed exploring its wonderful sites, in particular the Eiffel Tower and its many art galleries. I found it really inspiring and will definitely feature in my future work!

The good news is, my work is currently showing in the Spring Exhibition of the Ground Floor gallery in Dunmurry, Co Down. The Ground Floor is a lovely gallery and they support local, up and coming artists. The gallery is open Wed – Sat (10am – 5.30pm) and Thu (10am – 7pm) and the exhibition is on until the 30th April. Check out their website for more information or telephone them on 028 9061 2093. Please come along and support your local art community!

I am also excited to announce that I will be redesigning my website in the coming months to make it easier for you to navigate and view my work. More details to come…

Take care,

Kelly

Did you miss it? My solo exhibition at the Down Arts Centre featuring a series of cityscapes inspired by Belfast’s vibrant street life has just ended. It was a great opportunity for me and I was delighted to show my work in such a lovely gallery. If you didn’t see it you can check out some of the work here. I would like to thank Denise and everyone at Down Arts Centre for all their help.

You can also check out my recent interview at CultureNorthernIreland.org.
